BSE SME platform hits 250 companies mark

Spurred by investor interest, the number of listed firms on BSE's small and medium enterprise (SME) platform reached 250 companies with the listing of Affordable Robotic & Automation today.

The 250 companies listed on BSE SME platform have raised Rs 2,352.72 crore via initial public offer from the market. The total market capitalisation of all 250 companies stood at Rs 20,833.95 crore.

India' s only all-women last mile logistic services company Hey Deedee today said it has successfully raised pre-seed funding of USD 5,00,000 from Metaform Ventures LLC of an undisclosed sum.

 

The funds are going to be utilised for expansion of footprint, further gaining bandwidth and build technology, a release here said.

Hey Deedee is planning to expand to 10 cities from the current four cities in this calendar year 2018.

With a mission to train and employ 10,000 women by 2018, Hey Deedee aims to become the largest solution provider for hyperlocals and offers last mile delivery services within the city through its hub and spoke model, Revathi Roy, serial entrepreneur, and pioneer of Asias 1st Taxi service for women and co-Founder of Hey Deedee said. ************** Cipla's Innoventia plans to invest upto $15 million *

Pharma company Cipla's initiative Innoventia plans to invest upto USD 15 million in a disruptive healthcare idea.

Innoventia is envisioned to crowdsource and incubate disruptive ideas in healthcare to meet the unmet needs of patients.

The most disruptive ideas will be selected by a distinguished panel consisting of prominent industry leaders. Cipla will give the winner an opportunity to elevate that idea by partnering, investing and incubating it with a USD 15 million especially allocated for this purpose, a company statement said.

The ideas could range from pharma, diagnostics, devices, digital and services. ******************** Suumaya Lifestyle lists on NSE SME - EMERGE platform *

The city-based Suumaya Lifestyle today got listed on SME -EMERGE platform of National Stock Exchange (NSE).

The company offered 76.88 lakhs equity shares of Rs 10 each fully paid up for cash at a price of Rs 18 per equity share, aggregating to Rs 13.83 crore. The issue was oversubscribed by 1.37 times.

Suumaya Lifestyle is engaged in manufacturing of designer wear for women like kurtis, ethnic tops and deals in designer women fabrics. The company has its own design and production house and its manufacturing unit in Mumbai.
