BSE to suspend trading in 12 companies from Aug 21

Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today decided to suspend trading in 12 listed companies from Friday to ensure "orderly development in the securities market".

Exotic Coal, Khyati Multimedia Entertainment, Kriptol Industries, Newtime Infrastructure, Shreekrishna Biotech, Simplex Trading Agencies and Sterling Webnet are some of the companies whose trading will be suspended with effect from August 21. The suspension will be in force till further notice, BSE said in a statement here.

The other companies are -- Sunbright Stock Broking, Toheal Pharmaceuticals, Zenith Capitals, PFL Infotech and Dee Kartavya Finance.

"Trading members are hereby informed that...As an interim preventive and remedial measure and to maintain orderly development in the securities market, trading in the securities of these companies will be suspended with effect from Friday (August 21) until further notice," the BSE said.
 

The decision is based on the parameters provided by market regulator Sebi and under provisions of rules, bye-laws and regulation of the exchange, it added.
