Vigilance court-II judge Rameshchandra Singh passed the order on erstwhile BSEB sub-divisional officer Gayanand Singh on finding him guilty of the charges under Prevention of Corruption Act.
Singh was arrested by a vigilance team on December 14, 2006 from his office at Maheshkhunt locality in Khagaria district for taking Rs 2000 bribe from a wheat flour mill owner for sanctioning power connection.
