BSF Inspector General in-charge of Meghalaya, P K Dubey today called on Governor Ganga Prasad and apprised him of the security scenario in the Indo-Bangla border in the state following the exodus of Rohingyas from Myanmar.
Dubey also briefed the governor about the border domination and security situation following the recent inputs on Rohingya influx in Bangladesh, a BSF spokesperson said here.
The governor appreciated the duties performed and efforts by the BSF personnel posted in remote thick jungles in the state.
Prasad will flag off the 'Half Marathon 2017' at the BSF campus here on October 28 to pay homage to martyrs of Meghalaya.
