Wife of a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan today allegedly killed her daughter by setting her afire before committing suicide at Dantewada camp in Banaskantha district of north Gujarat, police said.
The victims have been identified as Madhumita Kundu (28) and her three-year-old daughter Nita, they said.
Following an altercation with her husband over some domestic issue, Madhumita set her daughter ablaze and killed herself in a similar manner.
Prima facie, it seems to be a suicide case, they said, adding a case has been registered in this regard.
