The Border Security Force (BSF) nabbed five Pakistani nationals today for crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) at the mouth of Kori creek here, official sources said.

The five Pakistani nationals had managed to flee yesterday, when the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) arrested eight Pakistani nationals and seized their two fishing boats for crossing the IMBL illegally from Kori creek, Coast Guard officials said here today.

The Coast Guard and the BSF had launched a joint search operation yesterday to nab those who had fled.

Nothing incriminating was seized from them and prima facie, they seem to be fishermen, officials said.

They will be brought to Koteshwar, subjected to medical tests and then be taken to the Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC), officials said.
