Miscreants today attacked and snatched a gold chain of the wife of a BSF officer in Lodhi Road here today.
Kiran Gupta was on her way to bring her child from a nearby school when two persons riding a bike attacked her from behind and snatched her gold chain, the FIR filed with Lodhi Colony police station said.
The incident took place at around 1240 hours outside the Pragati Vihar hostel near Lodhi Road where a number of government officials live.
Gupta's husband Amitabh is a senior official in BSF and is posted at the forces' headquarters here.
The women suffered minor injuries and she was able to recollect that two persons wearing helmets attacked her and sped off after snatching the chain, the police complaint said.
