BSF, Pak Rangers hold flag meeting on IB in Jammu

BSF and Pakistan Rangers held a flag meeting along International Border (IB) at Sangral Border Out Post here to dicuss issues pertaining to recent flash-floods.

A Company Commander-level flag meeting between BSF and Pak Rangers was organised at Sangral BoP in Jammu sector last evening and matters relating to flash-floods and cattle washed away were taken up, a BSF officer said here today.

During the flag meeting, Pak Rangers returned to BSF a buffalo which was washed away to the neighbouring country in the flash-flood on July 25.

Pika Gujjar, a resident of Kalali village in R S Pura, had informed BSF that his buffalo was carried away towards Pakistan in the heavy downpur. Following which, the issue was taken up in a flag meeting on July 26.
 

BSF, later, handed over the buffalo to its owner.
