Border Security Force (BSF) today said it has seized 25 kg of heroin and ammunition allegedly smuggled in by Pakistani nationals along the Indo-Pak border here.
BSF DIG RS Kataria said the incident took place last night when a patrol party of the border guarding force noticed suspicious movement near a border outpost.
The BSF personnel immediately rushed to the spot, where 25 kg of drug and ammunition were found, he said.
One automatic pistol, one magazine, six live bullets, one mobile set loaded with two Pakistani SIM cards were recovered from the spot, the DIG said, adding that no arrest has been made as the smugglers escaped.
