State-run telecom firm BSNL today said it has started 'Free to Home' service which will allow its mobile customers to transfer call on their BSNL landline phone without any extra cost.
"BSNL, launched 'Free to Home Service' for its all mobile customers to receive mobile calls on their BSNL landline phones free of cost while at home or in office as per their convenience," BSNL said in a statement.
This feature provides multiple call forwarding option that are -- always divert, call diversion when busy, call diversion in case the handset is turned off or has not coverage and call diversion for not responding.

The announcement about this service was made telecom minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on May 30.
"Many a times one tends to get irritated by day long use of mobile phones. This is an ideal solution for forwarding the mobile call to their BSNL landline numbers free of cost," the statement said.
'Free to Home' service provides call diversion facility from mobile to fixed line both within and outside a telecom circle.
However, the call charges in the case of call forwarded from mobile to BSNL land line will be free within circle only.
In a separate note, the state-run telecom firm said that it has registered the highest growth rate in providing new wireless connections during March 2016 in the country as per the official data released by telecom regulator Trai.
"Growth of BSNL in March 16 is 1.79 per cent against the industry average 0.68 per cent. BSNL has done it consequently for second time ie February 2016 and March 2016," the statement said.
