The Bahujan Samaj Party today expelled Ram Lakhan Pasi, in-charge of party's affairs in Rae Bareli, from the organisation on charges of indiscipline and failing to fulfil the assigned task.

BSP general secretary Naseemuddin Siddiqui, in a press release, alleged Pasi had failed to accomplish the tasks assigned to him by the party.

He had also failed to establish a hold on his "Pasi Samaj" and was unsuccessful in coordinating with members of the "Dalit Samaj", Siddiqui further alleged.

"Pasi has maintained ties with other political parties causing dissatisfaction among the party workers and has been indulging in indiscipline," the release said.

Therefore, he had been expelled from the BSP with immediate effect, Siddqui said.
