Former MLC and BSP leader, Srinath Advocate today joined BJP in the presence of Union Minister for Medium, Small and Micro Entreprises Kalraj Misra here.
Speaking on the occasion, the former MLC said that he had long wanted to join the BJP and serve the people and today he is doing it to help the needy and weaker sections of the society.
Welcoming the former legislator in the party fold, Misra claimed that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi the country is marching ahead in all spheres and so everyone is welcome to join the party and serve the people.
"BJP welcomes and respects all, whether they belong to any caste, region or religion", Misra said.
