A fresh batch of 1,166 pilgrims today left for Budhha Amarnath mountainous shrine in Poonch district from the Jammu base camp, police said.
The third batch of pilgrims who left in a convoy of 34 vehicles includes 812 males, 295 females and 59 children , a police official said.
The batch has been sent in tight security of CRPF personnel, he said.
