Sharing the views of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh that Narendra Modi as Prime Minister would be disastrous for the country, former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee today alleged that the RSS and corporate houses were paving the way for him.
"We are seeing a monster named Narendra Modi coming forward. It's really unprecedented in India that the RSS and all big corporate houses have joined hands to make way for Modi," Bhattacharjee said while attending a programme here.
"Modi is not only a danger for a particular community, but for the entire country. It would be a disaster if becomes the Prime Minister," he said.

Alleging a covert alliance between the ruling Trinamool Congress and BJP, he said, "In our state, we have clearly stated that in any situation we won't side with the BJP or the RSS. But the Trinamool Congress is not speaking a word on them. They are yet to make their stand clear. This is called opportunistic politics," Bhattacharjee alleged.
"We will not allow the BJP-Trinamool nexus to step into Bengal and disrespect the land of Raja Rammohan and Rabindranath Tagore," he said.
Criticising the Prime Minister, Bhattacharjee said, "The IMF and the world bank have ruined many countries. Our country is also been pushed in that direction by the neo-liberal policies of Manmohan Singh, as he can't see anything beyond World bank and IMF.
"That is the reason why the people of this country has deserted him and he is slowly walking into oblivion," he claimed.
