Maharashtra BJP president Raosaheb Danve today hailed the Union Budget saying it focuses on poverty eradication.
"The budget makes a major provision for boosting infrastructure and speeding up India's development," Danve said.
"Jaitley has ensured that the fruits of development reach farmers, villagers, poor, dalit, tribals, women and youth," the BJP leader said, lauding the budget.

The budget has made a provision of Rs 27,000 crore for Gram Sadak Yojana and it also envisions building one crore houses in rural areas, he added.
"The picture in rural areas will change due to these provisions and the farmers' life will become happier," the BJP leader said.
The budget also provides for action against corruption and black money, Danve said.
"I welcome the budget provision of making the process of funds collection by political parties transparent," he said.
