Budget 'leaked', alleges opposition leader in the Kerala assembly

Leader of Opposition in the Kerala assembly V S Achuthanandan today alleged the budget presented today by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy was "leaked".

Speaking to reporters soon after walking out of the House when the Chief Minister began his budget presentation, Achuthanandan said the budget had been "leaked" even before it was tabled in the House.

He alleged the budget had included various sops for various persons from whom "favours" had been taken by the government.

The Chief Minister and some of his cabinet colleagues are facing corruption charges in the bar bribery and solar scams and "we do not want Chandy's corrupt budget", he said.
