The duration of the ongoing Budget Session of Haryana Assembly, which was to adjourn sine die on March 24, was today extended by one day.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ram Bilas Sharma said some issues being currently taken up for discussion in the assembly have consumed more time than expected. Therefore, to allow enough time to all MLAs to speak on other issues, it had been decided to extend the duration.
"We have decided to extend the duration of the assembly by one day," he said.
The budget session of the state assembly began here on Monday.
