The budget session of Mizoram Assembly will begin on March 14, Additional Secretary of the Assembly S R Zokhuma today said.
State Finance minister Lalsawta will present the state's annual budget in the Assembly on March 16, he said, adding a decision on the date for presentation of the budget was taken during a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) chaired by Speaker Hiphei today.
The BAC also decided that the session will continue till March 30.
State Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Nirbhay Sharma will deliver his customary address in the House on the first day and obituary references will be made on March 15, Zokhuma said.
