The Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence has tied up with the State's Welfare Corporation for Forward Communities to hone youth's talent, and to ensure better career prospects through its Advanced Soft Skills and English Language Training (Asset) programme.

KASE's Asset programme, which aims to impart skill development and career guidance, will train 1,000 youths in its first batch.

The programme is designed in two phases. The first will find the candidate's area of interest and accordingly, in the second phase, the students will be put through advanced training.

The training is done in partnership with pan-Indian private institutions that are involved in skills development. On successful completion of the course, candidates will be put in touch with entrepreneurs through job fairs.

Asset, one of the many skill development programmes under the KASE umbrella, is available in Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Thrissur and Kannur.
