The bullet-ridden body of a man was found at his farmhouse here today, with the police suspecting that the reason behind his murder could be a 10-year-long family dispute over some property.
The body of Jagat Singh was found this morning by his nephew, who informed the police.
"There were several bullet injuries on Singh's body," a police official said, adding that a case has been registered against unidentified persons under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

On the basis of initial investigations, the official said, police is suspecting that the property dispute, which was pending in court, could be the reason behind the murder.
