The white, blue and green coloured balloons, tied together with threads, were found in a field near the house of one Raj Kumar in Dhalwan village of Hamirpur district.
The name of a bank in Pakistan was imprinted on some of the balloons, SP Hamirpur Madhusudan said.
It appears that the balloons were set free in Pakistan, the officer said, adding that investigations are on in the matter.
