A Business Incubation centre, which will provide all facilities needed for student innovators to transform their ideas into business enterprises, was opened here today by Industries Minister A C Moideen.
The 900 square feet centre has been set up at the Government College Kariavattom, here with the support of Kerala State Industrial development Corporation Ltd.
City Mayor V K Prasanth, Executive Director KSIDC B Jyothikumar and College Principal S Ramdulari were among those present.

KSIDC, the premier industrial promotion agency of the state government, has been taking up various initiatives to develop Kerala into a vibrant entrepreneurial destination.
Business Incubation Centres of KSIDC have been functioning at Kakkanadu and Angamali in Ernakulam district wherein 25 Start Up entrepreneurs are operating their ventures, according to a release.
Another 4000 sq ft Incubation Centre is coming up at UL Cyber Park, Kozhikode.
KSIDC is also aiming to create a network of Business Incubation Centres in the state by assisting educational institutions to set up such centres in the campuses.
