A 26-year-old businessman was killed when his car plunged into a canal apparently due to low visibility in fog in Indirapuram area here today.
Aniket, who runs an electronic goods shop in Raj Nagar area, was returning home from Delhi via Hindan river canal road, when the mishap took place at around 12 AM, SHO Indirapuram Haridayal Singh Yadav said.
He lost control over the vehicle and it plunged into the canal, the SHO said, adding that Aniket was trapped inside the car.
Later, Aniket was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead by the doctors.
