Businessman shot at in Mehrauli

A potato wholeseller was shot at allegedly by four men at a vegetable market in South Delhi's Mehrauli over personal enmity, police said today.

The 51-year-old Manohar Lal, who is a wholeseller of potato, was outside his shop when one Chandan fired at him last night, a senior police official said.

But the businessman had a miraculous escape as the bullet grazed his shoulder.

Lal then chased and caught Chandan, while three others managed to escape.

The attack was due to personal enmity, the official said.
