Businessman shot inside shop by 3 masked men in Ghaziabad

A trader was allegedly shot by three motorcycle-borne masked assailants today while he was inside his shop in Nehru Nagar-II area under Sihani Gate police station, police said.

SHO Sihani Gate Upendra Yadav said that businessman Vijay Goel, who is in his late thirties, was sitting in his shop when the three youths came there and fired on him at around 10 AM.

Goel received two bullet injures and was profusely bleeding, Yadav said.

He was rushed to nearby hospital by his family members where he is undergoing treatment.

Police screened the CCTV footage of the area. Two police teams have been deputed to investigate the case.
 

An FIR under section 307 has been registered against unidentified the three culprits, the officer added.
