Businessman stabbed

A businessman was stabbed by his

ex-employee and his two friends in Ambedkar Nagar area of South East Delhi, police said today.

Arun Malhotra (32), a resident of Madangir area, suffered two stab wounds in his thigh and abdomen. Malhotra was taken to a nearby hospital where he is undergoing treatment, said police.

The attackers have been identified as Ravi, Gaurav and Guddu. Ravi was an employee at Malhotra's firm but was dismissed from the job due to his behaviour.

Ravi had made several requests to Malhotra to reinstate him and threatened him with dire consequences, said police.

Following the incident, a mob gathered hearing the commotion and nabbed Ravi but his two associates managed to flee from the spot.
 

An FIR has been filed and efforts are on to catch the remaining accused, said police.
