In Touch magazine reported Thursday that claimed the 26-year-old "Easy A" actress had been walking around at Beach Bump tanning salon in New York completely naked.
"She walked out of the room completely naked. She didn't seem to care that everyone saw her naked. She seemed totally out of it... There was definitely something wrong with her," the publication quoted a source as saying.
Now Bynes is threatening legal action against the magazine after denying the story (via text mesage) and also said that "she'd sue", reported Huffington Post.
Alarm over Bynes' health has been increasing over the past year after she has been involved in a string of hit-and-runs and DUIs and was photographed smoking from a pipe out of her car.
In Touch magazine is owned by Bauer Publishing. On October 24, actor Tom Cruise's lawyer Bert Fields announced that the movie star had filed a USD 50 million lawsuit against the publishing company for two stories that falsely claimed Cruise had abandoned his daughter, six-year-old Suri.
