Seven Bihar Military Police (BMP) personnel on poll duty were Monday injured in a road accident in Chhattisgarhs Dhamtari district, police said.
A bus carrying 15 BMP personnel, heading from Raipur to Naxal-affected Kondagaon, overturned on National Highway 30 under Kurud police station limits, a local official said.
The driver lost control of the vehicle due to a mechanical glitch and it overturned, injuring seven who were shifted to a nearby hospital.
Of these, six were discharged after preliminary treatment while one trooper who was injured in the head was shifted to Raipur, he added.
A case has been registered in this connection, the official said.
The state goes to polls in two phases on November 12 and November 20.
