C'garh Assembly: Cong to corner BJP over teachers' recruitment

The winter session of Chhattisgarh Assemblyislikelyto be astormy one with opposition Congress planning to corner the ruling BJP over its decision of outsourcing to fill the vacant posts of school teachers in the state.

Besides, the issue of farmers bearing the brunt of drought in the ongoing kharif season would also be among key subjects to be raised by Congress, party sources said.

The winter session of Assembly will be held from December 16 to 23.

During the eight-day-long session, five sittings of the House will take place, Assembly's Principal Secretary Devendra Verma said today.

Chhattisgarh Governor Balramji Das Tandon issued a notification in this regard last evening.
 

During the session, official and non-official business will be transacted, he added.
