C'garh CM Raman Singh congratulates Arvind Kejriwal

Singh also extended his best wishes to Kejriwal's six Cabinet ministers who were also sworn in with him

Press Trust of India Raipur
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh today congratulated Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on becoming the seventh Chief Minister of Delhi.

Singh also extended his best wishes to Kejriwal's six Cabinet ministers who were also sworn in with him.

"I am congratulating Kejriwal on becoming the chief minister of Delhi and conveying my best wishes to him," he said in a statement here.

"I also extend my wishes to his cabinet members," he added.

Activist-turned-politician Kejriwal, 45, today administered oath at the sprawling Ramlila Maidan along with six cabinet ministers.

His party has won only 28 seats in the 70-member Assembly - and will be dependent on the legislative backing of the eight legislators of the Congress, which was voted out after 15 years.
