C'garh CM tells officials to redress people's grievances

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh has directed senior officials to take necessary steps to ensure speedy redressal of people's grievances in the state.

The Chief Minister, in a circular issued directly to additional chief secretaries, principal secretaries and secretaries of all departments in the Mantralaya, asked the process for resolving and redressal of public grievances redressal to be expedited, an official statement said here today.

The CM directed that process for the effective and fast disposal of public grievances be constantly monitored, it said.

Pointing out that timely disposal of people's grievances was the main priority of the state government, he said their grievances should be promptly addressed to bridge the gap between the government and the common man.
 

The Chief Minister directed that option be provided on homepages of websites of all the government departments to register complaints.
