"One jawan of Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) was killed and another injured in the Naxal attack in the forest area of Temelwada village under Dornapal police station area," said Sonal Mishra, police spokesperson.
Further, Mishra said: "We have not received (information on) the location of the helicopter which was sent to air-lift the injured jawans from the attack site."
The attack took place when a police team was conducting road-opening operation.
