Haryana government today said it has formed a cabinet sub-committee to look into area norms for granting licenses for housing projects in small and medium towns in the state.
The approval with regard to constitution of the cabinet sub-committee was given by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, an official spokesperson said today.
The Committee will comprise of Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu, Health and Medical Education Minister Anil Vij, Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister Rao Narbir Singh and Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Kavita Jain.
He said the committee will take decision for granting license by Town and Country Planning department for the development of residential plots and group housing colonies in low and medium potential zones and make suitable recommendations in this regard.
