The security forces today seized weapons from a Maoists' hideout in a village in Bihar's naxal-infested Rohtas district, a police officer said.

Acting on a tip off, security forces comprising CRPF, STF and district police launched a combing and search operation in the Nawra village under Nauhatta police station area and recovered the weapons hidden in a cave, district Superintendent of Police (SP) Vikas Burman said.

The ultras had kept the weapons there to carry out a major attack in the area, he said.
