CAG beat Karnataka 3-2, IOB thrashed SAIL 5-0 and Punjab and Sind Bank held Army XI to a 2-2 draw in the 89th All India MCC Murugappa Gold Cup Hockey Tournament here today.
In the Pool A match, Chandan Singh (20 minute), MD Naeemuddin (53rd) and Navneet Swarnkar (70th) were goal scorer for CAG, while Thimanna Pn (69) and Mohan Muthanna (44) sounded the board for Karnataka team.
In the Pool B match between IOB and SAIL, V Vinod Rayer (28th, 46th and 51th) scored a hattrick and Hasan Basha (53, 55) pumped in two more goals.
In another match, Rajinesh Salaria (29th) and Siraju AP (42nd) scorer for Army, while Pabhdeep Singh (22nd) and Ramandeep Singh (50th) were the scorer for Punjab and Sind Bank.
