Manipur and Meghalaya Governor V Shanmuganathan today urged the youth to involve themselves in productive welfare services and emulate Swami Vivekananda, who was an inspiration to many youths.
Participating in the birth anniversary celebrationsof Swami Vivekanandha at the Sri Ramakrishna Mutt here, he said youth by nature were strong, both mentally and physically. They were also cheerful and enthusiatic by nature hence they should work for their bright future and for the prosperous future of the country.
The youth should fulfill the wish of Vivekanandha who said that new India must emerge from the huts of farmers, labourers and workers in hills and gardens.
He said all should work together to eradicate the poverty and bring good times for the poor people.
