The Ma'din Academy here todaylaunched a campaign against terrorism at the annual Ramzan prayer and peace congregation.
Thousands of believers participated at the gathering, which marks the 26th night of the holy month, a release issued by the Academy said.
Karnataka Food Minister U T Khader launched a project titled 'One Million Peace Homes', wherein academy volunteers would visit homes and spread the message against terrorism.

They would conduct special learning sessions on the harmony message of Islam and create awareness of the atrocities of terror ouftits like Islamic State, it said.
The participants also took a pledge against terrorism, intolerance and hatred spread by IS and its affiliating outfits.
The organisation Chairman Sayyid Ibrahim Khaleel Albukhari led the pledge taking ceremony at the congregation.
Ma'din Academy, established in 1997,is one of the premier educational and charity centres in South India and runs 30 ventures with 21,000 students on its roles.
Ma'din is one of the main organizers of the International Interfaith Harmony Seminar every year as part of the United Nation's harmony initiatives and an active partner in organizing G20 Interfaith Summit every year, the release said.
