Campaign to link Aadhaar with voters list in Haryana on May 17

A statewide special campaign will be organised in Haryana at all polling stations on May 17 to link Aadhaar number with voters' list.

An official spokesman said all voters could visit their concerned booths on May 17 to get their Aadhaar number linked with voters' list through Booth Level Officers (BLOs).

He said if name of a voter is registered more than once in voters' list then he or she could get it removed by filling Form Number 7 and by submitting it in the District Election Office under this campaign or he or she could get it removed under the Special Campaign.
 

By taking advantage of this voluntary declaration, penalty could be avoided, he added.

Apart from this, Aadhaar number could also be linked with voters' list by sending SMS on 51969, 166, 199 numbers, he said.
