Haryana Lokhit Party (HLP) President Gopal Kanda today said he could destabilise the Bhupinder Singh Hooda government in the state but will not do so.

"I can destabilise the Congress government in Haryana any time but I will not do so because this government is on its way to exit due to its own misdeeds and wrong policies. People want to get rid of Congress rule at the earliest," said Kanda, a former Home Minister in the Hooda government at Hansi near here.

He asked party workers to be ready for Assembly elections which he said can take place any time in near future.

Kanda said his party has decided to field candidates on all 90 assembly segments.

"Preparation have begun. Many leaders from other parties are interested to join our party but we shall take only those with good reputation and clean image," he said.

Speaking about the possibility of forging an alliance with any party, he said,"Any thing is possible in politics".

Later while addressing a rally at Uklana town about 40 km from here, Kanda announced that if his party was voted to power, farmers would be supplied electricity free for irrigation through tube wells.
