Haryana police has informed a Delhi court that undertrials from the state would not be produced there till the Jat agitation ends, as the cops were busy maintaining law and order.
A circular issued by the office of District and Sessions Judge (headquarters) informed the concerned judges of the Tis Hazari Courts here about the letter received from Haryana Police.
"A copy of fax letter has been received from the Superintendent of Police, District Jhajjar, Haryana state with the intimation that due to Jat reservation agitation in Haryana, large number of police force has been deployed on various places to maintain law and order duties during the agitation.

A Bill to provide reservation to Jats and five other communities in government jobs and educational institutions was unanimously passed on March 29 by the Haryana Assembly, ahead of the April 3 deadline set by the community which launched a violent quota agitation last month.
At least 30 people lost their lives and more than 320 were injured in the worst ever Jat agitation witnessed in Haryana.
Besides, financial loss to the tune of hundreds of crores was incurred by people whose homes and business establishments were damaged in the arson that followed the agitation leaving the state paralysed for nearly two weeks.
