Filmmaker Karan Johar, who is looking forward to the release of 'Hasee Toh Phasee', says he has lost the charm of writing or making love stories.
'Hasee Toh Phasee' is a romantic comedy produced by Johar's Dharma Productions and Anurag Kashyap's Phantom Production, and directed by Vinil Mathew.
"I find it difficult to write love stories...I think I have lost that innocence which I had when I wrote 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', 'Kal Ho Na Ho'," Karan said at the trailer launch of the upcoming film here today.

Johar's latest film as a producer 'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein', which hit the theatres last month, too was a romantic comedy but it failed at the box office.
"'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' was totally different from 'Hasee Toh Phasee'. The characters in these two films are completely different," he insisted.
Asked why several producers are involved in this film, Karan said, "It's a new way forward. This thing may be new to the Indian zone of production but actually when you go in west, hundred people come together for a film.
"I am very greedy about script and content. If somebody brings great screenplay, it doesn't matter how many names are associated with the project."
On the other hand, Kashyap said "I look for sense and sensibility. These kind (commercial romantic films) have appealed to me..You all have made me this dark kind of a person. When I heard the script it made me laugh...Cry.
The film, scheduled to release on February 7, features one-film-old Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra in the lead.
"In this film I play a scientist who is little mad. It is something I have not seen on screen. I could relate to the energy the character has," Parineeti said.
