Canon India elevates EVP Alok Bharadwaj to international ops

Canon India has elevated Executive Vice President Alok Bharadwaj to international operations in Singapore where he would join its headquarters for South East & South Asia business.

The change is effective January 1, 2015, Canon said in a statement.

Bharadwaj would be reporting to Canon's South East & South Asia operations President & CEO Kensaku Konishi, it added.

He will head corporate strategy group in Singapore and will be responsible for strategic business planning and execution as well as corporate communications for Canon's South East & South Asian regional operations, the statement added.

Apart from that, he would also oversee business development in emerging Asian markets in this region.
 

Bharadwaj, an alumnus of FMS Delhi, has been working with Canon from last 13 years and under his leadership the company registered a record-breaking expansion to emerge as an imaging industry leader in India.
