Hong Kong-based mobile accessories maker Capdase is exploring the option of setting up a manufacturing unit in India as it expects a revenue of USD 60 million in next three years.
"India has been our top priority market. We have been present here since 2004 but now we are scaling our business in partnership with YMS Mobitech. We expect to generate revenue of USD 10 million in this year and USD 60 million over next three years. We are exploring manufacturing option in India as well for quick supply to local market and save on taxes," Capdase Channel Manager Roy Chan told reporters here.
The company has been selling accessories for iPhones in India on select stores. The accessories include phone covers, power bank, car mobile chargers, adapters, USB cables, selfie camera etc.

"We will now expand our product portfolio to cover Android smartphones in India. At present we sell through around 1500 retailers and generate annual business of USD 2.4 million. With YMS our reach will increase multifold," Chan said.
YMS Mobitech, a company with electronic distribution platform, distributes Xiaomi and Leeco products.
"We have now entered into exclusive partnership with Capdase. We currently reach out to around 11,000 retailers across 383 cities. This will increase reach of Capdase products by over 7 times. YMS Mobitech will provide door step service to customers for Capdase products," YMS Mobitech Co-founder Ajay Laddha said.
