Car renting business today came under tax scanner with the Income Tax department conducting survey operation at the premises of a leading car renting business operator at Mohali.
Seven premises of the car renting business operator were surveyed by tax sleuths and department officials checked books of accounts to ascertain undisclosed income, official sources said here.
No information about the exact tax evasion could be known as the survey operations were still going on.
