Model-actress Cara Delevingne is set to be the subject of a new unauthorised documentary called "The Cara Project".

The 24-year-old star has cemented herself as one of the world's top supermodels and is now becoming an in-demand actress with roles in movies such as "Paper Towns" and "Suicide Squad", reported Female First.

Revolver Entertainment is to make the documentary, which will the tell the story of her career.

The London-based film distributor will sell off the documentary at Mipcom, a trade show held in Cannes, France, and the American Film Market, in Santa Monica, California to publishers and broadcasters.

Revolver Entertainment intend to release the film on DVD and video on demand services in the US and Canada within the next few months.

The project will likely be made up of pre-existing archive footage, as Delevingne hasn't authorised the film and therefore won't be appearing in it to give any interviews.

It is unknown whether the documentary plans to cover her personal life, which recently saw her split from partner St Vincent after a year-and-a-half of dating.
