Amid profit-booking by speculators at existing levels and low demand in the spot market, cardamom prices were lower by 0.74% at Rs 1,140.50 per kg in futures trade today.
Besides, adequate stocks position in the physical market on increased supplies from producing belts put pressure on cardamom prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in far-month April fell by Rs 8.50, or 0.74% to Rs 1140.50 per kg in business turnover of 18 lots.
