Cardamom remained weak and prices fell by another 0.70 per cent to Rs 765.10 per kg in futures trade today as traders engaged in reducing their positions, tracking a weak trend at spot market on sluggish demand.
Besides, adequate stocks in the physical market following higher supplies from the producing belts fuelled the downtrend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in February month declined by Rs 5.40, or 0.70 per cent to Rs 765.10 per kg in business turnover of 44 lots.
