Press Trust of India New Delhi
Cardamom prices declined by 1.23 per cent to Rs 1,255 per kg in futures trading today as speculators booked profits at prevailing levels amid easing demand in the spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in May fell by Rs 15.60, or 1.23 per cent to Rs 1,255 per kg in business turnover of 15 lots.

Market analysts said besides profit booking by participants at existing levels, fall in demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position mainly led to the slide in cardamom prices at futures trade.
