Continuing its losing streak for the fourth day, cardamom prices eased further by 0.84 per cent to Rs 1,310 per kg in futures market today as traders engaged in reducing their positions, taking weak cues from spot market.
Besides, ample stocks position in the physical market on increased supplies from producing regions put pressure on cardamom prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in December fell Rs 11.10, or 0.84 per cent to Rs 1,310 per kg in a business turnover of 79 lots.
Analysts said, trimming of positions by participants owing to sluggish domestic as well as exports demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position, kept cardamom prices lower at futures trade.
