Press Trust of India New Delhi
Amid pick up in demand in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions, cardamom prices traded higher by 0.50 per cent to Rs 903.90 per kg in futures trade today as participants created fresh position.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in August rose by Rs 4.50, or 0.50 per cent, to Rs 903.90 per kg, in a business turnover of three lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in cardamom futures to uptick in domestic as well as exports demand in the spot market against tight stocks on restricted arrivals from producing belts.
